KOLE- BU GETS HAEMATOLOGY CENTER

Mansa Nettey hinted that measures have being put in place to start construction of a comprehensive heaatology sickle cell center at the Korlebu-bu Teaching Hospitail in Accra.

The project which had started earlier in 2008. Is said to receive finishing touches as Miss Nettey disclosed.

She added, Ghanaians can access services related to blood cancer without looking futher to travel to some African countries for such tasks.

President of the Students’ Representative Council, the S.R.C, of   the Accra Polytechnic, Mr. Daniel Osei Owusu , has disclosed that the students leaders would be  petitioning the chief Imam of Ghana and other stake authorities to help address the one month strike action of the polytechnic teachers Association of Ghana 

POTAG.

According to him, the students are innocent to be involved in such seeming political agendas since they do not take sides in any of the two parties.

He said ‘ if all avenues are explored and they still insist on not coming back , we will match to the ministry of Education , and attend our lectures there’, as he threatened.
